The circular nature of the concertina represents an endless journey between day and night. I related to the sense of being endlessly lost and the journey being more important than the destination.

As each panel reveals more of the journey, I wanted the reader to contemplate whether there is truly one ending point to each journey they embark on. I’m hoping to show that the imagined finish line of one journey is actually just the starting point of another.

My personal project ‘Is this the Right Way?’ was created during my Master’s degree at Cambridge School of Art. It was made using screen printing.
